Heat Pump Installation in Mohegan Lake
Challenge
These customers had outdated oil baseboard heating in their home. They were very unhappy with the cost of maintaining their existing system and wanted to install energy-efficient equipment that would save them from the exorbitant monthly expenses. Additionally, their house was not equipped with AC, forcing them to lug window units throughout the house to each room during the warmer seasons.
Solution
We installed a central air handler upstairs in their attic to service the entire living floor of the home and added ductless wall-mounted air handlers to service the finished basement. We removed their old baseboard and boiler, replacing it with a high-efficiency Rheem heat pump water heater to function as their domestic hot water supply.
